Augmentative and Alternative Communication

Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders
OMDs are atypical orofacial muscle habits that impact structure and function of speech, swallowing, and breathing. We provide screenings for identification and remediation treatment plans!
Feeding & Swallowing Therapy
Babble & Bite provides feeding therapy from birth to school age. We work with families to improve bottle feeding, support tube weaning, transition to solids, and address atypical eating patterns (for example, food selectivity or refusal). We educate and support families on how to journey back to a positive feeding experience for the whole family!
Speech & Language Therapy
If you are questioning your child’s speech and language development, consulting a trained SLP can help unpack your concerns. We can help you understand what is impacting your child’s speech intelligibility, language comprehension or expression by assessing if your child’s current communication concerns are due to a delay, disorder or if they are developmentally appropriate.

What to Expect
Therapy progress isn’t always linear. We do our best to be flexible and meet your child where they are!
Schedule a Phone Consultation
Let’s discuss your child and your areas of concern. We will get an initial evaluation on the calendar during this phone call and discuss any questions you may have.
Meet with Marisa for Initial Evaluation
The initial evaluation can be done in office or in home depending on your family’s needs. We will review the intake forms, conduct a parent interview if further information is needed, perform screenings, clinical observations and informal, dynamic assessments.
Treatment Plan/Goal Setting
Post evaluation, you will discuss recommendations and agree upon goals for your child. An evaluation summary with recommendations and goals will be provided.
Begin Therapy Service
We will carry out the treatment plan recommended and agreed upon for your child in the setting that best suits your child’s needs.
