Marisa is a NY state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist serving infants, children and families throughout Westchester County, NY.

Marisa provides one-on-one speech and feeding therapy services privately both in-office or in-home. She provides consulting services for a local school district and also offers teletherapy.

Marisa holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College and her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Delaware.

Marisa’s areas of expertise include speech sound disorders, articulation, phonology, oral motor development, feeding, swallowing, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Marisa is Level 1 PROMPT trained and has 6 years of experience working in a local pediatric rehabilitation hospital. She has experience providing speech and feeding therapy services to medically fragile infants and children as well as conducting AAC evaluations alongside an Assistive Technology team.

Outside of therapy, Marisa is a wife and proud Mom who loves spending time with family, eating a good meal, laughing at herself, reading a book, walking her dog, or spending the day at the beach. She is passionate about helping families understand and support their child’s feeding and communication development.
